It's hard to describe what Jackson And His Computer band is, he's described as being "IDM" (Intelligent Dance Music lolz) but usually this genre scares me with it's weirdness that I simply don't understand. I seem to understand Jackson And His Computer Band though... as he makes very good music. Jackson makes music which seems to be a compromise between the scary world of IDM and more "mainstream" dance music. There is always a very good melody hidden amongst his madness. His debut LP "Smash" is one of those things which at first seems quite inexcessible to listen to but after a while it begins to grow on you.

Jackson And His Computer bandの音楽を説明するのは簡単ではないですが、彼自身は"IDM" (Intelligent Dance Music lolz)を説明しています。この手の音楽たまに不思議ちゃん過ぎてそこまで積極的に手が出せなかったりするんですがJackson And His Computer band はそんな抵抗もなく素直に良い音楽だと思います。理解が難しいIDMとメインストリームのダンスミュージックの間と言った所でしょうか。所々に素敵なメロディーが隠れているのも彼のポイントだと思います。デビューLPの "Smash"は初めから好きになるのは難しいかもしれませんが、聞いてるうちに好きになっちゃうような一枚です。
