Do you remember we posted Jackson And His Computer band before? I don't know how many people actually liked his stuff though let's say some people like it.
I personally like Warp Records. This label is a famous and successful label though I'd say it may be love or hate. They have a variety of artists/music including Jackson And His Computer band, Battles (also quite good), autechre,Boards of Canada and so on... I have to say it might be far from the music we've been posting though it's always great to broden your horizon!!! Some of their stuff are possibly quite hard to accept from the first time. On the other hand, some are surprisingly easy to get into. I've chosen a beginners friendly track called "Volcan Veins" from CLARK's newest album "Turning Dragon" and "Aquarius" from Boards of Canada's album "Music Has The Right To Children.
By the way, This is very first absolute solo post by Sebastianne. For people who thought this post is bit different from usual posts, YOU ARE RIGHT! Im nervous for posting this actually. so please forgive my writing and English skills yo! ( I am JAPANESE is the excuse :P)
自分で投稿して日本語訳を載せるの忘れてました・・・今回はWarp Recordsの世界をちょこっと。前に Jackson And His Computer bandについて載せましたが、そんな彼が所属してるのがこのレーベル。 CLARKの"Volcan Veins"(アルバムTurning Dragon)とBoards of Canadaの"Aquarius"(アルバムMusic Has The Right To Children)をどうぞ。

Hajimemashide, Sebastianne-chan:)
Nice reading your 1st solo post :D I agree "Aquarius" is the most easy-listening track on the album, but "Turquise Hexagon Sun" is fantastic as well.
WARP RECORDS, its 1992 compilation "Artificial Intelligence" is always on my fav list, a landmark in electronic music history. But maybe it's not your thing, I guess you & Sebastian are not really digging IDM :)
hajimemashite soon san : )
I can say I quite like IDM.
You might be surprised by the amount of time I listened to Boards of Canada!
Im glad that someone who checks this blog actually likes this kind of music :)
Sebastianne
