Jesse Rose was quite big back in 2006 with his two albums. People call his music "fidget house" which makes sense if you think of his music. There are bouncy beats, interesting base lines and sometimes funny voice sample. His music is accessible for those who dont listen to minimal house. His second album " What Do You Do If You Don't?" is quite good and there are 2 tracks which feartured Hot Chip. Especially the single track called "Forgot My Name" created best combination of Hot Chipness and fidget house. If you have 5 minutes of boredom. It's worth listening to it. Jesse Rose also sometimes makes good remixes as well. Check out the Plastic Operator track "Why Don't You?" remixed by him.

２００６年に２つのアルバムをひっさげて大ヒットを果たしたJesse Roseですが、彼の音楽は”Fidget house"というジャンルでくくられる事が多いようでFidgetとはソワソワするという意味だそうです。音楽を聞けば何となく納得というか、なんだかただのhouseでもminimal houseでもなく、良くわからないけど心地よい感じがします。誰にでも聞きやすいトラックも結構あり、今回リリースされた２作目のアルバム " What Do You Do If You Don't?"はHot Chipなんかとも作っていて興味深い感じです。シングル曲となった "Forgot My Name"はまさに適量のHot ChipさとJesse Roseの融合でとても素敵な出来になっています。ちょっと耳を傾ける価値はあると思います。彼はたまに素敵なリミックスも作るのでそちらもチェックしてみて下さい。Plastic Operatorの”Why Don't You?"なんかはナカナカ良い感じです。
