When I heard Cut Copy's mix tape "A Night Out With Cut Copy", one track stayed my mind for a while. A few months later, I was told that this was by a band called Out Hud from San Francisco.(Later they moved to NY) Unfortunately,they already broke up in 2006. The bassist,Tyler Pope, is now a member of !!!(Their gig was one of the most unforgettable gigs of mine by accidentally...) and has also played for LCD Soundsystem before.

The track we are posting today is "It's For You"from the album"Let Us Never Speak of It Again". I guess this is their most popular track and was the last release from them. This track is refreshing and gentle for your ears.The piano sound tightens the track a little in a good way,which makes the track lively. Another best track for sunny days as well. Also, it works very well in "A Night Out With Cut Copy"too.(it appears around 8:00)So, if you haven't heard it, I recommmend to check it.


だいぶ前にCut Copyのミックステープ "A Night Out With Cut Copy"を聞いた時に気になるトラックがありました。何ヶ月後でそれがOut Hudというアメリカ、サンフランシスコ（後にニューヨーク）出身のバンドの"It's For You"(アルバムは"Let Us Never Speak of It Again"）というトラックだと教えてもらいました。彼らは２００６年に解散してしまっているのですが、べーシストだったTyler Popeは現在 !!! のメンバーであり、過去には LCD Soundsystemにもいました。
その"It's For You"ですが、なんだか爽やかで耳に優しい可愛らしいトラックです。ピアノがメリハリをつけていて、これまた天気のいい日にピッタリな感じ。 "A Night Out With Cut Copy"の中でも存在感がありとても良い流れで使われています。（ちなみに８分あたりで登場します）聞いた事無い人は是非この機会にどうぞ。
