This was certainly the surprise when I saw it blogged on Discodust a few days ago, the ever-awesome Bag Raiders are bringing out a remix version of their Turbo Love EP. Turbo Love is recieving the remix treatment from Shinichi Osawa, K.I.M, Flight Facilities, Whitenoise, Light Year and Spruce Lee (you can grab the Whitenoise one from Discodust, we nicked the Light Year remix from them) and the eagle-eyed of you will have noticed that Kris Menace has "Shooting Stars" listed as "coming soon" on his official site, so we presume this will also be on the remix album/ep? As for what's posted...

The Light Year remix is really great, has an almost Knightlife meets Aeroplane vibe about it. I hope there is more to come from this guy because on the evidence presented he could be something very special.

The Shinichi Osawa remix, however, is slightly lacklustre and not what you would expect from a guy with a remix back-catalogue as strong as his is. Too much going on, it's like every trademark he's used in the last two years is in this remix, quite overwhelming. I think the Ravex fans may dig it and it would probably work well in his own DJ sets.

Discodustで発見しましたが、なんとも素敵な事に Bag RaidersがTurbo Love EPのリミックスバージョンをリリースするとの事！リミックスは大沢伸一, K.I.M, Flight Facilities, Whitenoise, Light Year そしてSpruce Leeが参加。 （WhitenoiseのはDiscodustにてゲットできます。そして私たちもLight Yearのリミックスをいただきました。）そしてKris Menaceも彼の公式サイトにて"Shooting Stars"についてカミングスーンと公表しているので、それも入るんではないかと・・・
Light Yearのリミックスはとても素敵です。KnightlifeミーツAeroplaneのような感じで彼らの音楽が近い将来もっと出てくるといいなと思います。ただ大沢伸一のは少し残念な出来です。いろいろ詰め込みすぎた感があって、Ravexが好きな人にはぐっとくるのかも知れないですけど・・・ちょっとゴチャゴチャしすぎかな。リリースはBangGang 12inchesからです。
