Apparently there was quite the bidding war for the talents of Breakbot and the chance to release an albums worth of his material. Turns out Busy P beat them all and Ed Banger have indeed got a new member to their crew. Is this good? Will Breakbot just endlessly DJ at cool venues from now on? Will he forget to release original productions or have have his debut album endlessly delayed? Will he get into fights because nobody recognises him at the club? Who knows?
Not dissing the label that has brought us Justice & SebastiAn, we are merely jesting at overeation. It's good news for everybody involved as it should see Breakbot reach "over 9000" in hype and the possibility of him collaborating with Ed Banger artists is a mouthwatering prospect; SebastiAn remixing Breakbot, Breakbot remixing SebastiAn! Happy times?
Breakbotを巡ってのレーベル争いがあったようですが、どうやら勝者はBusy Pだったようです。ということで、Breakbotは晴れてEd Bangerの仲間入りをしました。が、ファンなだけに少し不安もあったり・・・・最近のEd Bangerの傾向としてはリリースの遅れ、とにかくツアーもしくはパーティー。彼もその波に乗ってしまうのでしょうか・・・もちろんEd BangerはJustice,SebastiAnを送り出した素晴らしいレーベルです。ただ、前のようなリリースとカッコ良い音楽が少し恋しいです。ちょっと楽しみなのはBreakbotがSebastiAnのリミックスをしたり、その反対だったり。ちょっと期待しちゃいますね。

I heard somewhere that Breakbot and Xavier were friends in high school and tried to make music together, so this makes sense. But, of course, that might be completely false, but I'd rather believe it. I'm actually surprised that it took this long for him to get recruited.
This is great news... although i would have thought that Boxon Records would have also been a good fit for breakbot. Just hope Busy P does not have too full a roster this year. Sebastian with tracks to release (perhaps a new album) and Daft Punk Rumoured to be in the studio again in the US he's going to be BUSYYYYYYY P!
Respect to Ed Banger for the signing though... just give us the Breakbot Album NOW!
Haha. Yes, he should be. But not on the Daft Punk side of things because he no longer manages them. They are handled by some L.A management team whose name I forget.
That extended version of the Digitalism remix is top notch.

and i'm wondering what so-me will do with the Breakbot character! will he make a so-me version of it or keep it just the way it is now?
Knowing So-Me he'll trace a Hanna-Barbera cartoon character and mix it with the Breakbot image.
